1. Use the 2 minute rule

If a task can be done in 2 minutes, do it! Don’t keep it for another time simply because it is an easy task. That is the 2 minute rule. Use it!

2. Always write down 3 of your most important task, the night before!

3. Listen to music while working

4. Set specific times to check your emails

6. Learn the art of saying no without hesitation

7. Batch all similar tasks

8. Start your day tough or start easy

Are you the type that likes to get the most difficult tasks out of the way, get it done and then get to the easier one? On the other hand, if you are the type that likes starting your day easy, start with the easiest of your To Do tasks and then tackle the tough ones. I don’t know about you but I think mixing both easy and difficult tasks together will definitely hamper your productivity. So start easy or start tough to improve productivity. Your choice!

9. Write everything down

I can’t begin to count the number of times I had a great idea and then promptly forgot it hours down the road (LOL) simply because I didn’t have a pen and paper! Written down the Ideas, tasks, and other pertinent things. This will boost your productivity greatly.

10. Carry out a task as soon as it rises

Procrastination is in our blood. More so than others. The result is that we tend to put off things that we could do immediately for later. Then we keep post phoning for another day. On and on, telling ourselves we have all the time in the world. Then the deadline comes and we start running helter-skelter! We become stressed out. When you have a task to do, do it immediately instead of leaving it for later especially if it is something that can be done within a few minutes.

11. Make use of password manager

Some of the websites I used actively, so I have to remember all the passwords! I imagine how it is you too! Having to remember all the passwords to your emails and every work-related website or tool that uses passwords for logins. The time you spend you spend in trying to remember and try different passwords to log in is time wasted and productivity, truncated. That is why using a password manager is one of the smart life hacks for improving productivity.

 

12. Ever faced walking toward somewhere and seeing another person walking towards you and you need to get past each other and end up doing left to right dance. Just look towards the direction where you are going instead of looking towards the person he/she will automatically move.

13. If you are ordering something online and it doesn’t give you free delivery then just add any random item which amounts you free delivery and place the order. When order is placed just cancel that particular random item and you just saved few bucks. I don’t know whether this works now or not because one time I remember it got failed. But just give a try.

14. Ever want the other person to show interest in you and talk you. Whenever you talk just talking more about what the person likes. He/she will start like talking to you.

15. If you are ever going to face a situation which makes you nervous like speaking somewhere. Before that start chewing gum and you will be little calm down because your brain know body will not eat anything in danger.

16. Don’t want to watch a video on YouTube with ads. Just skip to the end of video and hit replay. Ads won’t show after that.

17. If you are talking to someone and they won’t shut and let you speak. Drop something on the ground they’ll pause when you go to pick it up. Use that opportunity to speak.

18. Ever forget to turn the stove off when you boiling the milk and it end up spilling all over. Just put a long stick like object over the container. It wont spill.

19. Not able to leave any bad habit or everytime getting distracted to do something. Just tell to everyone that you going to do that. It won’t work 100 % but it increases the probability of doing it. Just give a try.

20. If you are a student and getting problem not being disciplined. Just make a time notebook. Write whenever you going to study and when you get up. At the end of the day you will see how much time you have wasted and studies. Start this habit you won’t regret it.

21. If you think someone is giving you wrong number. After they finish tell them to repeat again. They will surely tell you different one when they repeat.

22. If you are having hiccups and its not stopping. Most probably people drink water. The best thing to do is stop you breath as long as you can. It will stop immediately. Always works.

23. This one I don’t know whether it will work or not. As I haven’t tried. So if you are having a headache, simply drink water. Hydrate yourself. Headache will go away

24. This one is useless i think. I read somewhere. A guy collected atm receipt which had big transaction. So when he give phone number to girls somewhere he uses those receipts and most probably girls call him.

25. If you want get up early in the morning. Just drink water before going to sleep. Or another one I have read. Tell yourself 5–10 time that you want to get up at X:X in the morning. Example- I want to get up at 6.

26. This one worked for me many times for Domino pizza. This will give you discount of 100 rupee. Just use code- CHEESE100 OR name of that particular day of week+100 . Like- SUNDAY100, THURSDAY 100 etc.

27. Whenever you are going to say something to any one just try to say those words to yourself. You will see how your words makes you sad/happy etc. It make me realise sometimes that what i was about to say will be very hurtful if it was said to me by someone.
